Jean Wood

Jean Mary Wood, age 92, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, April 17, 2026.

Jean Mary was born on February 17, 1934, in Peterborough, England, to Cyril A. and Phyllis (Barrett) Teeson. On September 26, 1953, she married the love of her life, Lee A. Wood, in the County of Great Yarmouth, England. Together they shared many years of marriage until his passing on June 23, 2001.

Jean lived a life centered on family, kindness and quiet strength, touching the lives of all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving children, Norman P. (Teri) Wood and Deb Faughnan; her cherished grandchildren, Stacy (Patrick) Banks, Christie (Leo) Cummings, Amie (Jon) Pickelmann, Heather (Josh) Witczak and Bradley (Kyla) Wood; along with thirteen great grandchildren and eight great great-grandchildren.

Jean also leaves behind her special friends, Kathy and MaryAnn, whose kindness, friendship and willingness to help whenever called upon meant so much to her and her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee A. Wood; her parents, Cyril A. and Phyllis Teeson; her brother, Cyril Teeson; sons-in-law, Jerry Faughnan and David Steiner.

Jean will be remembered for her warmth, devotion to family, and the many cherished memories she created throughout her life. Her love and guidance will remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
