Obituary
Ruth Harper Beaumont, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, was born August 14, 1932, and passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026 in Saginaw, at the age of 93.
Born in Mesquite, Nevada, to loving parents William Harper and Frances Woodbury, who have passed, Ruth was the youngest of six children, all of whom have passed: Merrill, Alta, Thora, Leathra, and Muray. As Ruth’s time to leave this world drew near, she expressed her desire and joy in being able to see her parents and siblings again.
Ruth’s life was a quiet testament of devotion, warmth, and enduring faith. She lived across several states—including Utah, California, Idaho, Nevada, and Michigan—gathering along the way not just memories, but people whose lives were made brighter by her presence.
She is lovingly remembered by her five children: Pam Stewart (Jim), Ken Beaumont, Tonya Campbell (Robert), Kurt Beaumont (Daedre), and Melanie Pyatt (Rob). Ruth was also blessed to have a stepson, Randy Tucker (Rosa), who loved her as his own mother. Her former spouses were Gordon Tucker, who has passed, and Ray Beaumont, who is still living.
Her legacy continues through her 23 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, who carry forward her spirit of love and family unity.
Ruth was known for her radiant and welcoming nature. As a beautician, she became more than a stylist—she was a listener, a friend, and a light to all who sat in her chair. Her gift for conversation and her sincere interest in others made every interaction meaningful. She had a glowing countenance that reflected a heart full of kindness and genuine love.
Her home was a place of warmth and gathering. She delighted in preparing family dinners, with favorites including roasts, casseroles, potato salad, and fried chicken. Ruth was especially known for her baking—fresh bread rolls, cookies, and cherished Christmas treats like caramels and fudge. These simple offerings became sacred traditions, binding generations together.
A devoted mother and wise steward of her home, Ruth managed both family life and finances with care and diligence. She found joy in preserving memories through scrapbooking and held a deep love for family history, honoring those who came before and strengthening the connection for those who would follow.
Her faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life. Her home was a place of daily prayer, filled with gratitude to the Lord. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served with quiet dedication in many capacities. Most dear to her heart was her 16 years of service in the Las Vegas Temple, where she found profound peace and purpose.
Ruth’s life was one of gentle strength, steady faith, and enduring love. She leaves behind not only a family who will deeply miss her, but a legacy of light that will continue to guide them.
Her presence will be missed, her example remembered, and her love felt always.
