Dee, Bill was a dear friend, and a great lawyer. Most of all he was a devoted and loving husband. It was an honor to follow him as Chair of the Admissions Committee. As national counsel for a number of clients, he referred a number of matters to me. So we worked together and I can attest to the kind of lawyer he was. Will miss my friend. Let’s stay in touch.

Dee, Linda and I were heartbroken to hear of the passing of our dear friend Bill. For 41 years, we shared a friendship filled with unforgettable experiences — family, our careers in law enforcement, insurance cases, and the unwavering support and loyalty we always had for one another. Bill was more than a friend; he was like family to us. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Dee, I’m so sorry to hear about Bill’s passing. Bill and I met at Michigan State University in the spring of 1965. We hit it off immediately and became roommates for the 1965-1966 school year. We were both groomsmen in each other wedding. So many great memories. So many great adventures. Some while in college and many after. Most bring laughs. Bill had many sayings that just cracked me up. Unfortunately they are mostly on the risqué side and not for publication. Just thinking of them today brings a laugh. Bill taught me to drink beer and introduced me to black olives. Even today, when I see black olives wherever, I think of Bill. Just have to remember the great times I had with Bill which is easy to do. And shed a tear. Bill Rossow (MSU Class of 1966)
