Our beloved wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt and dear friend won her battle against cancer, and went to be in the arms of her Lord and Savior, on Sunday, July 19, 2026. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was 73 years old. Susan Ann McIntyre was born on March 29, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan to Joseph D. and Barbara Ann (Brown) McIntyre. She met Paul E. Billow in September of 1974. Their first date was on Mackinac Island, and as life continued, they fell in love and were married on July 1, 1983, he survives her. Susan and Paul together loved to serve the Lord and worshipped together at Freeland Assembly of God. At church, Susan loved to teach “the Daisies” and Paul would teach “the Royal Rangers”. Later in life, Susan and Paul worshipped and taught Children’s ministry classes at Old Town Christian Outreach, Saginaw. Susan worked for Covenant HealthCare for over 10 years as a transporter, and then worked for Meijer in Asset Protection. Susan loved to babysit her granddaughters, nieces and nephews, and her family meant the world to her. She was often fondly known as “Princess Susie Ann”.
Susan’s legacy will live on in the family that loved her, including her husband, Paul E. Billow; granddaughters: Alexis Green, Lauren Green, Brynn (Anthony) Guerrero and Ciara Green; one great grandson is expected in August; siblings: Christine Fila, Linda Kowalewski, Mary Kay (Jerry) Martinez, Pam Kaufman, Jenny (Mark Heinzelmann) Manzoni, Rob (Julie) McIntyre and Tom (Jamie) McIntyre; siblings-in-law: Karen Billow, Susan (Gerard) Premo, Cathy Billow Thayer and Wilma Billow. Susan babysat for three very special nieces that were dear to her: Collette, Connelly and Athena, and is survived by many loving and supportive nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Stephanie A. Green; parents-in-law, Cleo and William Billow; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Bill Fila, Warren Kaufman, Tom Manzoni, William J. (Mary) Billow III, Lance Billow, Connie (Tony) Bosco and Kevin Billow; niece, Jenny Lee Westall; two great nephews: Elijah Aguirre and Jacob Santoya.
A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Old Town Christian Outreach Center, 600 Gratiot Road, Saginaw. Pastor Bill Bodnar and Pastor Don Dinninger will co-officiate. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will gather at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter, Saginaw, MI 48603, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
