Shirley Randall

Shirley A. Randall, 95, of Saginaw, passed away peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, August 25, 2026, at Stone Crest Assisted Living in Freeland.

Shirley Ann Fox was born on March 7, 1931, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Henry and Anna Fox. She married Robert Randall on August 29, 1953, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Saginaw. Shirley was a longtime member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church on Brockway, where she was also a member of the choir.

Shirley enjoyed taking trips to the casino, bowling, golfing, and participating in her card club. She had a generous heart and especially enjoyed helping others and cooking for family and friends. But of all the things she loved, her cats held a very special place in her heart.

Shirley is survived by her children, Greg Randall, Karen Arnst, and Thomas Randall; grandchildren, Rachel (Josh) Koepplinger and Megan Arnst; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; her five sisters; and her son-in-law, Dave Celeskey.

Shirley will be remembered for her caring nature, her love of family and friends, and the joy she found in the simple things she loved most.

VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Monday, August 31, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road (off State). Rev. Andy Retberg will officiate. Committal service to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of Saginaw.
