January 19, 1932 - September 11, 2026
Obituary
Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday afternoon, September 11, 2026, at Stratford Pines in Midland. She was 94 years old.
Margaret Ruth Arlene Bielert was born January 19, 1932, in Blumfield Township, Michigan, to Henry and Hulda (Zutz) Bielert. She married James R. Williamson on August 27, 1950. Margaret was a longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church in Reese.
Margaret enjoyed many things in life, including camping, traveling, fishing, reading, and going out to dinner, especially at Olive Garden. She also loved shopping, cooking, going to the movie theater, and working on Sudoku puzzles. Above all, however, Margaret cherished the time she spent with her family. Her kindness, warmth, loving nature, and generosity touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Margaret had a beautiful smile that could light up a room, and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are her children, Terry (Cheryl) Williamson and Debra (Larry) Barajas; grandchildren, Jennifer (Tom) Rupprecht, Christopher Barajas, Sarah (Carlo) Cardenas, Regina (Tony) Barajas; eight great-grandchildren, Tyler (Megan), Raymond, Allison, Emily, Santiago, Joshua, Camren, and Marciano; great-great grandchildren, Londyn and Justin; one sister, Hildegard “Dollie”; one sister in-law, Dancing Carol and many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one great-grandson, Anthony O. Gonzales II; and her siblings, Alice, Walter, Emma, Martha, Frieda, Alfred, Otto, Trudy, Roland, Emmanuel, Paul, and Raymond.
Margaret’s family would like to thank the staff and trauma team at MyMichigan Medical Center Midland, the nursing staff at Stratford Pines, and MyMichigan Hospice for the wonderful and compassionate care they provided in Margaret’s time of need.
