David Robert Shelbrock, age 82, of Saginaw passed away Saturday, September 26, 2026, at The Meadows of Saginaw, Michigan.
Dave was born on June 8, 1944 to John and Betty Shelbrock in Pensacola Florida.
He graduated from Saginaw High in 1962 and went on to join the Navy where he served until 1969. While he was enlisted, he obtained his master’s degree in electrical engineering. Dave worked at Dow Chemical Company in Midland for 30 years, specializing in chemical engineering and security engineering. He was fond of radios, computers and anything electrical. He will be missed by all who knew him. He married Doris Gardner on May 10,1991.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Doris Shelbrock; children, Jason Shelbrock, Susan Shelbrock, Greg Gardner, and Jodi (Jim) Braun; and a brother, John “Jack” (Kathy) Shelbrock.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
