Jim Karnosky, 66, of Saginaw, passed away at home in late September 2026.
James Thomas Karnosky was born February 12, 1960, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Betty and Thomas Karnosky. He attended Michigan State University and went on to build a career with General Motors. After retiring, he joined Home Depot, where he was able to focus on one of his passions, landscaping. He was an avid golfer and music lover, and he spent many vacations skiing or white-water rafting.
He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Nathan) Patrick and Kristen (Michael) Lorentz; his grandchildren, Maxwell Patrick, and Eleanor and Olivia Lorentz; and his siblings, David (Cheryl) Karnosky and Jody (Tom) Sakorafis. He was preceded in death by his parents.
In keeping with Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and the family will gather privately to celebrate his life.
