James “Jim” Bernard Krueger, age 85, of Saginaw passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at Hoyt Nursing in Saginaw, Michigan.
He was born on October 8, 1941 to Bernard and Margaret Krueger in Saginaw, Michigan.
Jim was an avid sports fan who enjoyed cheering on the Detroit Tigers. In his younger years, he loved playing golf, and he continued to enjoy following his favorite teams and sporting events, especially the Saginaw Spirit and Formula 1 racing. Jim also found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often spending time in his backyard feeding the birds at his bird feeder. He enjoyed taking long walks along the Rail Trail, where he could take in the beauty of nature and watch the deer along the way. These quiet moments brought him a special sense of peace and enjoyment.
Jim is survived by his wife, Diane Krueger; beloved children, Adam Krueger, the late Christopher (DeLisa) Krueger, and Amanda Krueger; grandchildren, Zachary and Joshua Krueger.
Gravesite service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 19, 2026 at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery, 381 St. Andrew Road, Saginaw, Michigan, 48638.
