Catherine Heise

Catherine “Cathy” Sue Heise, age 75 of Saginaw, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2026 at Sheilds Comfort Care, in Saginaw, Michigan.

She was born on January 29, 1951 to the late Chester and Dorothy Rogoza in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

Cathy is survived by her beloved son, Kevin (Teri) Heise; grandchildren, Gillian, Gage, and Georgia; sister, Nancy (Buz) Wheeler; sister-in-law Kathy Rogoza, brother-in-law Craig Fisher; several nieces and nephews including, Brandon (Ronda Armstrong), Laura (Anthony Gleis) and Kaitlyn Fisher, Travis (Shannon) and Sandra Wheeler and Brittany (Dushan Shimko) and Kelsey Rogoza, Lisa Caggiano, Max (Nicole) Heise, Heather Maranville,  Julie (Chirs) Filcek, and John Heise; several great nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Cathy graduated from Carrollton High School before continuing her education at Saginaw Valley State College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in education. Throughout her life, she dedicated time to helping with after-school programs and religious education. Cathy enjoyed photography and watching television, especially her favorite daytime soap operas. She also had a love for music, with The Beatles holding a special place among her favorites.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Rogoza and Carol Fisher; and niece Tracy Smothers.

Memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, November 5, 2026 from 4:00 p.m., until 7:00 p.m. at Deisler Funeral Home 2233 Hemmeter Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48603.

Visitation will continue Friday, November 6, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00a.m., at Christ the Good Shepherd - St. Helen Catholic church Site,

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Pit and Balcony Costume Shop.
