Clara and I were friends for many, many years as we neighbors when I was in high school. I was her maid of honor in her wedding to John. We remained friends for many years afterward. She was a wonderful person, mother and friend. I will remember most her infectious laugh and her zest for life, despite her disability. Her birthday was May 8th and mine is May 9th.
