Doris Miles

So many memories. Worked with her in ER for 13 years. She came to many of our ladies luncheons She loved her children. Loved her life. She will b missed by many.

Doris was one of my mentors when I worked in the Emergency Room as a new RN. She was great to work with. I'm sure going to miss her. I'm so sorry for your loss Rob, Mike, and PJ. I'm sure you guys will miss her too. Denise (Sova) VanderHaar.

Doris was a neighbor during her school days, just a block up Hoyt on the way to St. Mary's from my home. She was a sweet person, outgoing and understanding. And she always seemed to have a smiling countenance. In school she was always involved in extra-curricular activities. Sweet she was but also tough. Being an ER nurse is no picnic, and she endured that for so many years. And she was outstandingly loyal to her classmates in the Class of '58, planning gatherings and attending so many of them. On February 1, just a few days ago, there she was at our annual class gathering at Fuzzy's, and I'm glad I gave her a hug as we departed.
