Ruth was a wonderful woman and loved kids. My son William fowler and his friend Raymond went down to her house to swim and play. She would spoil them giving them pop,chips,and candy spoiling their supper. She will be missed so much. She was a good neighabor and friend love her so much . Rip

Ruth was such a sweetheart to us neighborhood kids. We moved to Spring Road in the early 80s and lived there until the early 2000s. So much of my childhood was spent talking with her, playing with the cats, watching her tend to her beautiful garden, and playing in her yard (especially Hide & Seek in her garden :-) ) I loved hearing about her life stories, adventures, and looking at the interesting sea shells and trinkets she brought back from her trips. She always treated us kids like her own and had the best cookies! My Mom and I are forever grateful for her hospitality, friendliness, and warmth. She will be terribly missed. Rest in Heaven.
