I considered him the "big brother" of the family. I have many memories of him keeping "watch" over all of us - especially when we would ride from Tia Bea's to our house in the township. He was our protector along with the chains we would carry to keep the dogs away until the police stopped us. May you rest in peace "Fingers", our big brother. You will be missed --

A very wonderful person from day one ! Loved by Fernando and Saragosa Kapp, ( Paternal Grand Parents ) As he was one their first grandsons - Hard working, dedicated, a quiet leader, and a good Christian. May he rest in pease in the arms of our Lord, Robert A. Kapp, Grosse Ile,Mi 48138 rkapp3@comcast.net ( 734 ) 626 2848 ~ A proud Uncle.

My thoughts and prayers are with Roberta, George, Gene, Vicki and the rest of the Kapp family during this trying time. My compadre Richard was a gentle giant and a great friend, who's love for family and the church will always be remembered. Fond memories of those days when we shot pool at the house, playing basketball in the Kapp backyard have always been treasured. I was happy that I got a chance to visit with Richard and George when my dad passed away. My family really appreciated their kind words and prayers. Rest in peace my brother! Jaime(Pops) Fulgencio

Dearest Roberta, Hearing about the loss of your husband has deeply saddened me, but I know that this is far from what you are going through right now. Know that you are in my continuous thoughts and prayers. God bless you and may the soul of your husband Richard rest in the everlasting peace of Christ Almighty. In Prayer, Dr. Peatross

To the Kapp Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I will always remember Richard as the soft spoken Information Network for all retirees of the City. He always kept me informed of what was going on. He will be truly missed. Patricia Snow
