Dearest cousins, John, Mary, Jo and Cindy, My emotions are mixed at the passing of your mother, my wonderful Aunt Mildred. I am so happy for her reunion with your dad, my mom and dad and many others who passed before her. Sad that I won't see her again. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your parents with me and my family. In many ways they taught me how to be an adult as my parents died before I became one. They taught us the value of forgiveness, acceptance, compassion, giving, unconditional love and, most importantly, faith. They lived it authentically. Their lives embodied these traits and were sincere examples to all who had the priviledge to know them. I pray others, especially my children, will see those characteristics in me as I strive to embrace them in my life and keep them in the memories I hold dear in my heart.
