Kaye (Bouma) Newberry lit a candle in memory of Kay Anne Specht

We have such fond memories of Mom Specht! Growing up was made so special with her. So glad to have her in my heart as my 2nd mom. She knew who to call if she needed that fridge cleaned out! I won't forget how classy, special and loving she was to all of the "girls" when we were growing up at the Specht house. She deserved a medal for putting up with all of us! We will miss her dearly. It was a privilege to see her in April with my kids and laugh (and cry) over our old stories and memories. You all have our sympathies and remember the special angel watching over you! To our second family....as my sister said, it was a true pleasure growing up with Mom Specht. She truly was a second Mom to us and we were blessed to be in her life. We have so many fond memories of being at your house in Grandville. And of course with our twin best friends! My deepest sympathy goes out to you guys, but what a blessing to know she is done with her struggles and can be free in heaven. You can take comfort in that joy.
